Shipping isn't free. We build most freight into item prices. At checkout, you'll only see carrier minimums when they apply.
What to Expect

- In-stock items ship from Anchorage in 1–2 business days.
- You'll get tracking for mailed shipments.
- If you have a VTP account, you can follow order status as it moves through packing and handoff.
Common Questions
Carrier minimums are the lowest shipping charge a carrier will accept for a shipment. We absorb most freight costs into item prices, but when your order's freight falls below a carrier's minimum threshold, the difference appears at checkout. This only affects air freight shipments.
With Basic and Priority options, dry goods ship by mail while frozen and chilled items ship by air freight. These are different carriers with different handling requirements, so they travel separately. If you want everything in one shipment, choose the Air Freight option.
Bypass Mail only shows up at checkout when your village is eligible and your order meets the 1,000+ pound threshold. It uses USPS Bypass Mail, a bulk freight program that routes heavy shipments through the postal system at lower rates. Not all villages qualify.
